Waywide explained

About Waywide

For travellers who know their budget and availability before their destination.

Updated · Waywide

A budget before a destination

Waywide is being developed for New Zealand travellers who know when they can be away and what they can spend, but are open to where they go.

We’re building around a Watch: save the whole trip you’re looking for and let Waywide keep checking for flights that fit. The aim is to save you from repeating searches across dates, destinations and trip lengths.

Where we are today

Waywide is pre-launch. We are testing flight information and automated price checks before making flight search, Watches or alerts available. No flight-data provider has been selected for the public service, and there is no confirmed launch date.

The roadmap explains what needs to happen next. Join the free waitlist for launch and occasional updates.

What matters to us

  • Start with travellers departing from New Zealand.
  • Be clear about where prices come from and when they were found.
  • Keep the cheapest flight that fits visible, regardless of commission.
  • Do not intentionally mark up airfares.
  • Leave booking and ticket support with the airline or travel provider.
