Waywide explained

How Waywide intends to rank flight results

The cheapest flight that fits should come first, regardless of commission.

The cheapest flight that fits comes first

A low price matters when the trip meets your requirements. Waywide’s rule is to put the cheapest relevant fare first — within the flights it can reliably check.

Waywide is pre-launch, so these are the principles for the service we’re building.

Commission must not decide the order

Some booking links may eventually earn Waywide a commission. That must not move a more expensive flight above a cheaper one that fits, or hide a cheaper flight that pays no commission.

Any affiliate relationship would be disclosed. Any paid placement would need to be clearly labelled and kept separate from ordinary results. We are not announcing active affiliate partnerships here.

No intentional airfare markup

Waywide’s model does not intentionally add a charge to the airfare. You would check the current price and complete the booking with the airline or travel provider.

Membership is separate

The planned model has Free and Unlimited options. Final prices and what each includes are still being worked out. The waitlist is free.

Only show what we can support

We should not invent baggage allowances, price histories, savings or “best deal” claims. If information is missing or coverage is limited, that should be clear.
